Ether ETFs pulled in about $235M. BlackRock is making this a one-fund race.
The Ether ETF story is no longer just demand returning. It is demand landing first at BlackRock.

- →U.S. spot Ether ETFs added about $235M on August 27, extending their inflow streak to nine trading days.
- →BlackRock’s ETHA took $130.22M of the latest session, making the category’s rebound look concentrated, not evenly shared.
- →Watch whether Ether funds keep matching Bitcoin ETF demand into early September, because one soft week changes the read.
- spot Ether ETF → A fund that trades like a stock and holds Ether directly for investors.
- net inflow → Money entering a fund minus money leaving it during the same trading session.
Ether ETFs took in about $235M on August 27. Grafa, citing SoSoValue data, put the session at $234.52M. KuCoin’s trend brief reported $225.8M, so treat the day number as approximate for now.
The streak is the story. Decrypt’s summary says U.S. spot Ether ETFs have now added money for nine straight trading days. It also puts total inflows over that run at $1.4B. That is cash, not leverage.
BlackRock is the second story. ETHA took $130.22M on August 27, per Grafa’s SoSoValue-based summary. Fidelity’s FETH added $56.23M. No fund posted a net outflow in that session, according to the same report.
Bitcoin did not run away with the day. BeInCrypto reported $242.30M of spot Bitcoin ETF inflows on August 27. Ether’s reported haul sat close enough to make the comparison matter. If you hold ETH, this is the cleanest demand signal on the board today.
The tape matches the story. Ether products are no longer a side note when ETF money comes back. The only number that matters is whether this keeps happening without BlackRock becoming the whole market.
BlackRock’s ETHA took $130.22M on August 27. That makes rival Ether ETF issuers’ slow fee and product moves look weak, because investor habit forms fastest during inflow streaks.
Watch whether U.S. spot Ether ETFs add at least $500M more net inflows by September 4; below that, the nine-day streak reads like a burst, not a baseline.
