CASHCAT jumped 120% in a week. The launchpad died, but the trade didn't.
The first Robinhood Chain memecoin cycle is already past the easy-launch phase, and CASHCAT is still holding attention.

- →CASHCAT rose 120% over the past week, with CoinDesk reporting an $86 million market cap and $9 million daily volume.
- →The trade matters because Noxa went dark, but CASHCAT still has liquidity, holders, and a cleaner wallet spread.
- →Watch whether CASHCAT keeps volume above $5 million a day through August, or fades with the launchpad wave.
- launchpad → A launchpad is a tool that lets people create and start trading new tokens quickly.
- holder distribution → Holder distribution shows whether a token is spread across many wallets or controlled by a few large ones.
- value locked → Value locked is the amount of crypto sitting inside apps or contracts on a chain.
CASHCAT is up 120% over the past week, per CoinDesk. The cat coin traded near 8.7 cents as of August 6, with a reported market cap around $86 million. Daily volume sat near $9 million.
The thing is, this isn't just another launchpad candle. Noxa, the launchpad behind July's token wave, stopped accepting launches on July 11, CoinDesk reported. It went dark two days later. Token deployments across the chain's launchpads fell from about 35,000 per day in mid-July to about 10,000.
CASHCAT surviving that drop is the story. The chart tells one story. The holder count tells another. CoinDesk reported about 41,200 holders, with the largest single holder being a Uniswap pool at 2.47%. That's not rug-proof. But it's cleaner than the average first-cycle memecoin mess.
Robinhood Chain also has a weird backdrop. Robinhood's own site frames the chain as a permissionless Layer 2 for financial services and tokenized real-world assets. CoinDesk reported about $774 million in value locked, including $575 million in stablecoins and $100 million in tokenized real-world assets.
So the funniest asset on the chain is not the asset Robinhood wants you to think about. CASHCAT's reported $86 million market cap is close enough to the chain's tokenized real-world asset pile to be awkward. If you're trading this, your bag is sitting between a real product pitch and a meme cycle.
That can work. BONK did not need Solana's perfect app story to matter. It needed distribution, timing, and a chain that wanted something fun after a bad stretch. CASHCAT is doing the same thing, for now.
The risk is simple. Launchpad churn is falling, and memecoin attention moves fast when the factory slows down. CASHCAT has outlived the first machine that helped make the moment. Now it has to prove it wasn't just the cleanest coin in a dirty room.
Robinhood Chain's clean RWA pitch is getting drowned out by CASHCAT because the memecoin is now its loudest user story.
By August 31, watch whether CASHCAT stays above $5 million in daily volume and 45,000 holders, or falls back into the launchpad churn pile.
