Bitcoin Standard Treasury Company is targeting Nasdaq this month. Per Crypto Briefing, it holds 30,021 BTC at launch and has secured more than $1.5 billion in PIPE financing.
BSTR is merging with Cantor Equity Partners I, a blank-check company from Cantor Fitzgerald. The deal was announced in mid-2025. The target close is the end of June 2026, roughly 10 days away.
At 30,021 BTC, BSTR would rank roughly fourth among public corporate bitcoin holders at launch, Crypto Briefing reported. Its stated target is more than 50,000 BTC.
Adam Back is CEO. He invented Hashcash, the proof-of-work system Satoshi cited in the Bitcoin whitepaper. BSTR is not just holding bitcoin and waiting.
The company plans to sell put options and collect premiums while buying BTC at lower prices. It also plans share buybacks when the stock trades below net asset value. That is the same NAV-premium loop Strategy runs. Different operator, same engine.
If you're tracking corporate BTC accumulation this year, the $1.5 billion PIPE is the only number that matters. That is cash, not leverage.
BSTR is asking investors to price it like Strategy before proving it can run the same machine. Adam Back gives the pitch credibility. The first stock print decides whether that credibility is worth real premium.
Watch BSTR's stock in the first week after the SPAC closes. A premium to BTC net asset value confirms demand for a second corporate bitcoin treasury. A discount means Strategy's moat is still priced in.
