BitMart is shutting down its trading platform. Users have one month to get out.
The exchange gave dates, not a clear cause. That is the part users should actually price in.

BitMart stopped new registrations, deposits, and orders on July 26.
Per its notice, the suspension began July 26 at 01:30 UTC. Spot, futures, and other trading services are set to end on Aug. 26 at 01:00 UTC. BitMart plans to cease trading platform operations on Jan. 31, 2027 at 15:59 UTC.
The company blamed operating conditions, the market environment, and its future strategic direction. That is a reason set, not a reason. For users, the number to watch is Aug. 26 at 05:00 UTC, BitMart's recommended withdrawal request deadline.
Withdrawals remain available for now. BitMart said processing may take longer because of high request volume, extra documents, blockchain congestion, compliance reviews, or risk reviews. If your funds are still there, the calendar matters more than the statement.
BMX moved fast after the notice. Secondary reports put the 24-hour drop anywhere from 46% to more than 60%. The tape matches the story, but the exact move is not clean enough to print as one number here.
This is an exchange exit with dates attached. The cause is still vague. The risk is not that trading stops in January. The risk is users waiting until late August and finding the withdrawal line already long.
BitMart's choice to stop new orders before giving users a specific cause was too thin, because vague closure language makes every withdrawal delay look worse.
Before Aug. 26, watch whether BitMart posts a public withdrawal backlog update with asset-level delays, because silence means users are flying blind.
