Bitcoin ETFs posted six weeks of outflows. Stocks rallied, crypto did not.
The Fed story is beating the peace-rally story, and bitcoin funds are showing the damage first.

Bitcoin ETFs posted a sixth straight week of net outflows. CoinDesk reported the streak on June 22, with fresh institutional demand still missing. Bitcoin sat near $63,996 early Monday, down 2.2% on the week.
The tape matches the story. The Fed's cautious June message kept rate-cut hopes weak. The Dollar Index held around 100.6 to 100.8, according to CoinDesk. Higher Treasury yields gave investors a reason to hold dollars instead of bitcoin.
That matters because the outside world handed crypto a reason to rally. The U.S. and Iran agreed on a 60-day peace roadmap, according to the briefed context. Brent crude fell 1.7% to about $79 a barrel on June 22. MSCI's Asia gauge rose 0.6%.
Bitcoin did not join. CoinDesk had BTC down 0.4% over 24 hours early Monday. S&P 500 futures also fell 0.5%, so this was not a clean rally across markets. Still, bitcoin's failure to reconnect is the point.
If you're holding BTC here, your bag is trading like a funding story. Not a peace story. Not a tech story. ETF outflows are the only number that matters this week because they show who is not buying.
Altcoins did not send one clean signal either. Solana traded near $74 and was up 3.7% on the week, per CoinDesk. Ether sat near $1,733. BNB fell 4.2%, XRP fell 4.3%, and Dogecoin dropped 6.5% over the same period.
HYPE cooled too. CoinDesk had Hyperliquid's token down 5% on the day, trimming its weekly gain to 1.9%. That fits a market where early-June winners are losing air while ETF buyers stay absent.
The next move is simple to score. If weekly U.S. spot bitcoin ETF flows stay negative into July, the rebound case stays weak. If inflows return and BTC holds the mid-$60,000s, the demand story has a pulse again.
BlackRock and Fidelity have a demand problem now: six weeks of redemptions turns the ETF story from access into absent buyers.
Before July 31, watch whether U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs post a full week of net inflows while bitcoin holds above $64,000.
