XRP spot ETFs lost $7.29M on July 8, per U.Today. The Bitwise XRP ETF absorbed the entire redemption. No other XRP spot ETF recorded net movement that session.
The prior two sessions, July 6 and July 7, were flat. Before that, inflows were strong: $15.63M on June 26, $15.34M on June 29, and $6.55M on July 2. U.Today reports the July 8 exit broke that run without a named catalyst.
XRP sat near $1.09 on Wednesday morning, according to CoinDesk. Sellers were capping the price between $1.088 and $1.091. No fresh fundamental driver appeared. The $1.00 to $1.05 support band has held for weeks.
Cumulative XRP spot ETF inflows across all approved products stand near $1.40B. The July 8 outflow is one of the larger single-day exits of 2026. January 29 remains the benchmark: $93M left in one session, U.Today reported. Bitwise's total historical net inflow is $494M. The July 8 redemption is roughly 1.5% of that base.
If you're watching XRP ETF flows, the concentration is the only number that matters. One fund took the full hit. That is not a market-wide exit. It is one seller, moving once.
Bitwise's disclosure gap is the weak spot here. The market cannot tell whether July 8 was one large seller or several smaller exits. That matters because one fund-level print is thin evidence for a real XRP demand break.
Watch Bitwise's XRP ETF daily holdings page before July 16. A second Bitwise outflow of $5M or more would turn this from one exit into a pattern.
