XO Market closed a $6 million seed round and is preparing to launch XO Vaults, a capital-pooling product for prediction-market liquidity providers, per CoinDesk.
The round included 20VC, Picus Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Venture Together, and cricket star Pat Cummins as an angel. XO's pitch: user-generated markets, not curated ones. Per CoinDesk, XO reports more than $150 million in mainnet beta trading volume since mid-November 2025, over 30,000 users, and more than 600 user-created markets.
Prediction markets did more than $60 billion in volume in 2025, per CoinDesk. XO Vaults would target around 8% to 10% annual yield for capital providers once live.
On Polymarket and Kalshi, the platform decides what's tradeable. On XO, anyone can list a market. That shifts curation risk to the crowd: thin or duplicative markets draw no volume, and XO's bet is that permissionless listing generates enough variety to compensate.
XO Vaults is not live yet. The 8% to 10% yield target, per CoinDesk, is the number to watch when the product ships.
Polymarket's platform-curated model has a gap XO is driving a $6M round through. Once XO Vaults ships, liquidity providers become the competing platform's most active promoters.
XO Vaults goes live and attracts measurable capital with the 8-10% yield target holding under real inflows, before end of Q3 2026.
