Powerloom shuts its chain down at 6 AM tomorrow. Users who missed July 16 are already out of options.
The Powerloom chain goes dark at 6 AM UTC on July 21. After that, the Arbitrum bridge stops working and any assets still on-chain are permanently inaccessible.

- →Powerloom shuts down its blockchain at 6 AM UTC on July 21, and liquid POWER holders have under 24 hours to bridge their assets to Ethereum.
- →The bridge stops working when the chain does, and the staking exit window already closed on July 16 with no recovery path for missed balances.
- →Watch POWER's price on Ethereum within 48 hours of the shutdown to see how much value was successfully bridged out in time.
- bridge → Software that moves crypto tokens from one blockchain to another, and stops working if either blockchain shuts down.
- staking → Locking tokens inside a protocol to earn rewards or run network functions, which prevents you from moving them until you choose to unstake.
- ERC-20 → A standard format for tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. Tokens that follow it work in any Ethereum wallet and are not affected by what happens on other chains.
Powerloom shuts its blockchain down at 6 AM UTC on July 21, per CryptoSlate. Users with liquid POWER on the chain have under 24 hours to bridge to Ethereum.
The bridge closes when the chain does. That's the catch.
Powerloom's Arbitrum-based bridge requires both sides to be live. When the chain stops producing blocks, the bridge loses its source. Any POWER still on-chain after 6 AM has no path out.
The harder deadline already passed. The staking, claims, and node-burn window closed on July 16 when mint.powerloom.network went offline. If you had staked POWER or unclaimed balances, that window is gone. Per the announcement, there is no recovery path.
What stays: the POWER ERC-20 contract on Ethereum (0x429F0d8233e517f9acf6F0C8293BF35804063a83) is immutable. Tokens already bridged to Ethereum are unaffected by the shutdown.
The founders cited no sustainable operating model and insufficient ecosystem demand. The wind-down was announced June 15. Five weeks' notice for a permanent chain halt.
If you're holding liquid POWER on the Powerloom chain: bridge now. You have hours, not days.
Powerloom's founders closed the staking window five days before the bridge deadline, and that sequencing error is why some holders are permanently locked out with no fallback.
Within 48 hours of the July 21 shutdown, watch whether POWER's price on Ethereum drops sharply, which would signal most on-chain holders didn't bridge out in time.
