- →Spot Bitcoin ETFs extended their net-inflow streak to nine trading days as of April 24, totaling about $2.1B, per ETF flow trackers cited by Decrypt.
- →April 24's $14.45M addition is less than 1% of the nine-day total, and Bitcoin remains below the $80.1K short-term holder cost basis flagged by Glassnode.

- short-term holder cost basis → The average price that Bitcoin buyers who bought within the last 155 days originally paid, commonly used as a reference level for whether those holders are sitting on gains or losses.
- True Market Mean → A Glassnode metric showing the average price at which all Bitcoin currently in circulation was last moved on-chain, weighted by the volume of each transaction.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs logged nine consecutive days of net inflows as of April 24, with the run totaling about $2.1 billion, per ETF flow trackers cited by Decrypt. The streak is the longest since September.
The headline obscures the internals. Per SoSoValue's flow dashboard, April 24's net inflow was $14.45 million: the kind of number that keeps a streak alive but does not extend a thesis. Total net assets across U.S. spot BTC ETFs sit at $102.64 billion, with cumulative net inflows since launch at $58.56 billion, per SoSoValue.
Glassnode's April 22 market note adds caution. Bitcoin's short-term holder cost basis was at $80.1K as of that report, with the True Market Mean at $78.1K. Short-term holders were realizing profit at roughly $4.4 million per hour, per Glassnode, meaning sellers exist at current levels. The price has not cleared $80.1K cleanly.
If daily flows stay in the $10-15 million range, the nine-day streak is a rounding error against the $102 billion asset base. The number to watch is whether a single session prints above $300 million before Bitcoin breaks $80.1K.
BlackRock's decision not to publish intra-day flow data lets a $14.45M session carry the same headline weight as a $500M day, and that framing distorts how retail investors read the streak.
Watch whether any single spot BTC ETF session prints above $300M before Bitcoin closes above $80.1K on a weekly basis, within the next two weeks.
